This group covers R&D directed towards the preparation and supply of energy resources,
including the production of hydrogen from other energy sources and biofuel production.
a) The characteristics, propagation, growing and harvesting of crops for use as biomass
or conversion to biofuels is included in Division 26 Plant production and plant primary
products. b) The processing of non-energy mineral resources is included in Group 2502 First
stage treatment of minerals.
